Chapter Fourteen
Fallon
After the horrific scene on Thanksgiving Day, I was glad to hear Blade telling his parents he was leaving town for good. Theyâd be lucky if they ever saw him again, heâd told them. He was furious with his entire family. Too bad his little plan to ignite some type of jealousy in me didnât work out for him.
He and that stripper from hell took off, him on his motorcycle and her in an old Chevy truck. Iâd hated the nasty bitch from the first time I saw her skanky ass riding next to Blade in his truck as he made a loop through our little town one Friday night after a football game I had to be at. I was in the marching band and couldnât hang out with him until after the game ended.
As my punishment for not being available to him, heâd picked up a stripper and paraded her around town with him. It worked for him. I gave him more than I wanted to, so heâd never give her another thought.
Several months later, I had to go out of town with my family. It was for a funeral and Blade was mad because he saw it as an opportunity for he and I to get to stay alone together at my house with no one knowing. Instead of playing sick so theyâd leave me home for the overnight trip, I wanted to go and pay my respects to my dead grandmother. Who wouldnât?
The next evening when we arrived back in town, Blade made sure I saw him as he drove around the town with the tramp, I then knew was called Miss Cherry. He called me later that night to ask me how I liked seeing him with another woman and if I continued to put him second in my life, Iâd continue to see such things.
I had no idea where my self-esteem was, but I told him I was sorry for putting him second. Again, the man asked me to do things I wasnât comfortable doing but did anyway to keep him away from that nasty woman.
He pulled that stripper card on me only one more time and that time it took him a week to get me back, and when he did, I made him do a few things he wasnât comfortable with and took pictures to prove it.
To say he looked a little odd wearing womenâs panties and a bra was a vast understatement. When you added in drinking from a baby bottle and sucking your thumb pics along with wearing those things, he wasnât about to pull her out as a playing card anymore. Iâd told him I would show the entire town the pictures and humiliate him the way heâd done me.
Too bad Iâd burnt those pictures long ago, right before I moved away. I wanted no reminder of him at all. Not even a vengeful one.
The freedom that came with him being safely out of town was a thing I never took for granted.
